Is my dog home sick ?

We are spending the summer in L.A. And we brought my dog and when we took him to the hotel complex he was fine but after Like a week he was in the bathroom shakeing . he was a rescue dog he was abused before we bought him ! So maybe the hotel reminds him of the house he was abused in!.. Help me please
