Johns hopkinsadmission tips?

i got an 1800 on my sats, low, but have a 4.2 gpa in all honors and ap classes, possibly looking to play basketball at johns hopkins. its a huge reach for me........i volunteer, am in a few clubs and play two varsity sports. i know its not looking good but what can i do to improve my app??? thanks
