Was assailed (attacked) around a year ago, wondering if I can still report it and have action taken.?

Back before I dis-enrolled myself from this school, I was physically assaulted by another student. I have one, possibly two witnesses (if they are willing to help me) that can attest to my claims and corroborate with the police etc..
