your vet is an idiot and knows nothing about jack russells ... that rabbit will be dead if you leave them alone together ... your pup is all sweet now at 10 weeks old but as that dog matures so will his hunting instincts and i am sorry, but that rabbit is prey ... it does not matter if they grow up together ... google jack russells and cats and jacks can randomly kill the family cat even if they have grown up together ... the bunny understands, and i hope you get it before your bunny is dead ... i say keep them separate as the dog could kill the bunny with one bite and hope that when the dog does mature, it does not fixate on killing that rabbit because then one pet will need to be re-homed ...
